1. Data Controller
Talentiqa s.r.o. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our") (Rohanske nabrezi 671/15, 186 00 Prague, Czech Republic) is the data controller for personal data processed through taientiqa.com. You can contact us at [email protected] for any data-protection matter, including to exercise the rights described below.
Talentiqa s.r.o. is a Czech company operating a conversational candidate pre-screening service. Our core product runs structured conversations with job applicants submitted by recruiting teams, assesses responses against recruiter-defined criteria, and delivers qualified candidate shortlists. Because this service processes personal data about job candidates as a core function, we take our obligations as a data controller seriously.
2. Personal Data We Process
Talentiqa processes two broad categories of data subjects: recruiters and their teams who use the Service, and job candidates who complete screening conversations through links provided by recruiters.
Recruiter and team account data:
- Identity and contact data submitted during registration (name, work email, employer name, role title);
- Role configuration data (job description content, qualification criteria, screening questions you define);
- Usage and account data (logins, feature interactions, support communications);
- Technical data collected automatically (IP address, browser and OS details, pages visited, session duration).
Candidate screening data:
- Identity data candidates choose to share during a screening conversation (name, contact details where entered);
- Conversation content: the candidate's responses to structured screening questions during the screening conversation;
- Assessment output: the structured evaluation of candidate responses against recruiter-defined criteria, including shortlist status;
- Technical data: IP address and device information collected at the time of conversation.
We do not use screening conversation content to train our AI models without explicit written consent from the recruiter customer who controls that role and its associated candidate data.
3. Purposes and Legal Bases (Article 6 GDPR)

| Processing candidate screening conversations on behalf of recruiter customers | Legitimate interest of the recruiter customer (Art. 6(1)(f)); candidates are informed of the screening purpose at conversation start |
| Responding to inquiries and support requests | Pre-contract steps / legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f)) |
| Operating and securing the Service | Legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f)) |
| Legal compliance | Legal obligation (Art. 6(1)(c)) |
| Analytics cookies (where consent is given) | Consent (ePrivacy + Art. 6(1)(a)) |
4. Recipients and Transfers
Personal data is shared only with processors acting on our behalf under Article 28 GDPR data-processing agreements (cloud hosting, email delivery, analytics providers). Where data is transferred outside the EU/EEA, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (Art. 46) and assess additional safeguards as required by the Schrems II ruling.
Candidate screening data is shared with the recruiter customer who initiated the screening for that role. That data is not shared with other recruiter customers or third parties.
5. Retention
We retain personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described. Recruiter account data is retained for the duration of the account and for 24 months after account closure. Candidate screening conversation data is retained for 12 months from the date of the conversation, after which it is deleted from our systems unless the recruiter customer has exported it. Inquiry-form and support data is retained 24 months after last contact. Server access logs are retained 90 days.
6. Your GDPR Rights
As a data subject under EU law, you have the following rights:
- Right of access (Art. 15): confirm whether we process your data and obtain a copy;
- Right to rectification (Art. 16);
- Right to erasure / "right to be forgotten" (Art. 17), subject to limited exceptions;
- Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18);
- Right to data portability (Art. 20);
- Right to object (Art. 21), including to direct marketing without further conditions;
- Right not to be subject to automated decision-making with legal effects (Art. 22). Talentiqa's shortlist scoring is used by recruiters to inform their decisions; the final hiring decision remains with the recruiter.
Candidates who have completed a screening conversation and wish to access, correct, or delete their data should contact us at [email protected] with the name of the role and the approximate date of the conversation. We respond within one month, extendable by two further months for complex requests.
Recruiter account holders may exercise their rights through their account settings or by emailing [email protected].
7. Right to Lodge a Complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In the Czech Republic that authority is the Urad pro ochranu osobnich udaju (UOOU), reachable at www.uoou.cz. 9. Security
We implement technical and organisational measures appropriate to the risk, including TLS encryption in transit, encrypted storage, access controls limited to personnel with a need to know, and regular security review. Screening conversation content is treated with particular care given its sensitivity in a hiring context.

Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Where required by applicable law, we will request renewed consent before applying changes that affect how we process your data.
